Doug Lawrence – Managing Director
Doug is the founder of Oakley Services UK Limited. Doug is a passionate individual who believes that people are best equipped to tackle the challenges and issues of their working environment if their academic achievements are complemented by a range of practical skills.
Doug has buckets full of knowledge and experience and he delivers each of his training courses with the perfect balance of technical expertise and personal observations.
Sue Lawrence – Director & Company Secretary
Sue is a co-founder of Oakley Services UK Limited. Sue has had a long career in Human Resources, working for a variety of organisations including the Sovereign Housing Group and National Grid Property. Sue’s philosophy for life is providing support for both companies and individuals alike.
Darrel Dimond – Medical Director
Darrel has worked with Oakley Services Ltd since its infancy, quickly becoming the company’s Medical Director. Previously Darrel had joined the Ambulance Service in 2000 before qualifying as a paramedic. In 2011 he became an Ambulance Officer with responsibilities in scene management, Bronze Command and staff development. Darrel shares the same passions as Doug Lawrence with high quality, real life training.
Richard Coleman – Head of First Aid
Richard has an immense knowledge of First Aid, having trained First Aid for a voluntary services organisation and providing support for the NHS. This and his enthusiastic approach brings First Aid alive for our delegates.
Robert Lentell – Head of Health and Safety
Robert or Bob as he prefers to be known has a wealth of Health & Safety knowledge picked up or a number of years. He is a Chartered member of IOSH and is on the consultant’s register. His belief is to provide a pragmatic approach to Health & Safety which is highly respected by our clients.
Steve Evans – Senior Electrical Trainer
Steve started was an electrical apprentice and has capitilised on this by providing effective training in our portfolio of electrical courses. His appraoch is greatly appreciated by delegates who gain from his method of delivery with his fundamental attitude that makes learning easier. He is also our deputy internal verifier.
Tom Brewster – Internal Verifier
Tom started his career in the Royal Navy where he gained immeasurable knowledge and experience in electrical engineering. As our internal verifier Tom provides us with tremendous knowledge of electrical qualifications and is recognised by C&G and Emta Awards Lts (EAL).
Steve Mills – Head of Marketing
Steve is a former International Sportsman turned leading Marketing and Business Development professional with over 28 years of experience.
Steve is a specialist in on-line, digital marketing and is the author of four books on marketing, as well as being an expert in LinkedIn.
He works for Oakley Services and provides sales and marketing advice and training for our clients.
Karen Froude – Marketing Manager
Karen has over 25 years experience working within Marketing Communications and PR, and her experience covers all aspects of the marketing mix – both traditional and digital. Previous organisations that Karen has worked for include Bupa Global, Legal & General and Zurich UK. Karen loves everything that involves words!
Jemma Fowler – Social Media Assistant
Jemma has over seven years experience in Social Media Management. In the first month of her first social media role, she received a £2,000,000 order! She specialises in SME social media, loves statistics but loves orders more!
