We recently provided a free hour long Emergency First Aid Seminar at Newbury College. It included assessing an emergency situation, organising casualties, how to successfully carry out life-saving techniques, and why having the right first aid skills can really make a difference.
Anyone of us could be faced with an unexpected emergency situation where we need to help save someone’s life. This is why it is vital to learn basic first aid skills and lifesaving techniques.
With the horrific events that the UK has experienced recently, including the terrorist’s attacks in London and Manchester and the Grenfell Towers fire, the seminar touched on what to do in the first few minutes of an incident that could help save lives, before the emergency services arrive on the scene.
Having the right first aid skills can really make a difference.
We will be organising similar seminars in the future, so please look out for details on this News Section of our website soon.
