Medicines Management and Basic First Aid

Course Details

This 6 hour programme is aimed at giving school staff an understanding of Medicines Management in line with the Department of Education Guidelines. It also looks to provide Basic First Aid techniques including CPR, Recovery Position, Choking, Control of Bleeding and Burns.

  • Managing bleeding and burns
  • How to deal with a child with a problem with one of these illnesses Asthma, Epilepsy, Diabetes or Anaphylaxsis

This course is designed for all school staff who may have to administer medicines and associated lifesaving techniques for a child in their or their schools care.
